Participants are already registering for the exhibition
According to GTRK “Irtysh”, the list of international representatives in the 8th exhibition hall of “VTTV-Omsk-2009” continues to grow. By 12th May 24 participation requests were registered from 24 different countries including; Algeria, Italy, the Netherlands, USA, Belgium, Israel, Germany, Nigeria, Canada, The United Arab Emirates. In the space of just a couple of days the physical spread of participants grew by seven countries. From past experience however, the next two weeks will prove the most effective means of judging the final list of guests and expositions of “VTTV-Omsk 2009”.
The first displays and business section of the prestigious show will be divided into several thematic areas: “Weapons and ammunition”, “Communications, Electronics, Information Technology”, “Optics and Electro-optics”, “Armour – 2009”, “Education and training of the Armed Forces”, “Logistics”, “Aerospace” and “VDV. Mobile forces and vehicles”. The programme of the 5th International technological conference allows for the simultaneous discussion of questions relating to several scientific areas, including safeguarding and improving of the intellectual potential of the Russian defense complex, the features of specialized production in modern conflicts and other relevant issues. Two techno-scientific conferences will also take place during the event. Executives from the industrial defense complex, and military specialists will work in sections: radio electronics, communications and electronics, and heavy engineering.
“VTTV-Omsk-2009” will be located in the commercial exhibition centre of “Kontinent-2” in an area of over 20 thousand square metres. Around 200 production examples will be on display from local, national and international businesses that produce military supplies, specialist equipment, and hi-tech consumer products. Demonstration of mobile and firepower capabilities will take place at the base in Svetlyi.
